Sho Yamato is not your average bicyclist. Instead,The Anime Idaten Jump Articles his devotion towards the sport has enabled him to master awesome talents that are basically superhuman in nature. However, all is not okay, because many gangs of other athletes endanger the X Zone practice area. These bands are made up of bikers that do not have his expectation of straightforward competition.

Idaten Jump has several of the regular characteristics of shonen series. It follows the ritual of modern Shonen manga and anime in that it has a main star whose quest is to collect a given object while overcoming some issue. In this instance, the detail that Sho Yamato needs to track down come in the form of various emblems that he has to collect while battling with other bikers. While this may not come off like the most innovative of series to start with, the extreme sports action and estranged villains lend a unique feeling to Idaten Jump.

Stars like Gabu Samejima, who actually turned into the dictator over the in-series X-City, really make the program. He is the manager of Team Shark Tooth, who are the rivals towards Sho and friends until about the midway of the show. What sets his character apart from the normal Shonen sports-anime villain is that instead of being unquestionably in charge, he is actually the younger brother of the second in charge of Team Shark Tooth. This adds for quite a bit of storyline that would not have been out there had series innovator Toshihiro Fujiwara gone with the normal.  This kind of distinctiveness of storyline, matched with the awesome action sports theme, makes Idaten Jump position itself from other shows.
