Tips when betting on the horses - part two

This is a continuation of my horse betting tips, the first article can be found by viewing my author bio. In the previous article we learned that in order to be successful when betting on horseraces you need to have knowledge of horseracing and this is gain by reading up on the subject. We also learned that by watching horseracing on the television it is possible to understand some of the factors that have an effect on the outcome of a race. Lastly we established that you should not just study the horse you are planning to bet on but also the rest of the pack, to ensure you are not missing out on other talent.

Below are four more horseracing tips.
1. Think like a bookie.
You will not go far wrong if you think like a bookie. A bookmaker makes their own forecasts based on events and other factors that are relevant to the outcome of the race. This is because they compile all the necessary information. If you do something similar, this can only benefit you.
2. A certain horse for a certain race.
It is possible to identify if a horse is the perfect one for a particular race. You can distinguish this by the racecourse they are running and other outside factors that will affect their performance such as the condition of the ground.
3. Choose the better class horse.
Somewhat of a no brainer, the best class will always have a better potential of winning. Horseracing is about the horse that is trained and conditioned to win different races, most of them are born to race. It is best to check out which horse is of better class. You can tell this by the form and the ease in which the horse is moving around the racecourse.
4. Horserace history.
Look at past history of horseraces and lookout for horses that have achieved sudden shift in the way they are performing for example there may be ones that have lost and started winning from then on. These are the ones that are worth monitoring and betting on. Disregard old racing history and consider the way the horse is performing at the moment. If there are a series of wins in its name, then that is a horse that will be worth your consideration if you are after the best value out of the bet you will place.
Follow these simple horseracing tips in both of my articles and you have a better chance of succeeding when betting on horseraces. It is also possible to benefit from bookmakers free bets when betting on horseracing. Many bookies offer free money to entice new customers, at present a few notable ones include a £30 free bet from BetclicHealth Fitness Articles, £50 free bet from Paddy Power and £50 from Betfred.
