Story: -

Manoranjan (Kamal Haasan) is a great movie star who is loved by the masses. He led a controversial life and the cache of his fans. One day,Uttama Villain Telugu Movie Review and Rating Articles he comes to learn that he has a brain tumor and will die soon.A Manoranjan disappointed decides to make the most of his remaining time in acting in a new film. He approaches his mentor Margadarsi (K Balachander) and asked him to direct his latest film. Plus Points: -

Undoubtedly, Kamal Haasan is the biggest advantage for this film. His performance as a dying superstar is huge and will keep you emotionally. There are some scenes for the climax that will bring a lump in the throat. How Kamal portrayed his controversial life and presents his comic timing as an artist of Theyyam is pretty good.legendary director K Balachander is perfect in his role and brings a lot of depth to the film. All his scenes with Kamal Haasan are so heart touching and present the connection between them. climax of the film was well managed and provides emotional appeal of the film.Andrea and Pooja Kumar heroines look good in their respective roles and provide good support for the film. A scene where he confronts his son was beautifully written.

Negative points: -

Uttama Villain has its flaws and can get boring at times. Although the period drama was well presented, the way it was reported in the second half is below par. The film moves back and forth in time and manner of underwater terrain is connected to the main theme seems boring and jaded.Yet another disappointing main factor of the film is the runtime. The film lasts three hours and can get on your nerves. There are a number of scenes in the second half that could have easily been cut to make the film crispy. After half an hour in an interesting first half, the pace of the film decreases drastically. K Vishwanath was not used to its potential.Uttama Villain has absolutely no entertainment value and become boring for those seeking the popcorn entertainment. Technical aspects:-

Uttama Villain is super strong technically. The art direction is top notch and the sets and types of light are just wonderful. Yet another major asset of this film is huge Ghibran background score that elevates the film to another level.Music of the film is about right. As said earlier, the screenplay is the biggest and less bogged down every time the movie goes back in time. Story provided by Kamal Haasan's pretty good, but the director Ramesh Aravind so the keeper manages narrative flow of the film.

Verdict:-

Overall, Uttama Villain will appeal to a certain part of the audience. mature performance Kamal Haasan and emotional climax are basic assets of the film. On the other hand, a second half and the prolonged absence of entertainment values go against the film a long time. Finally, all those who love the style of Kamal Haasan film manufacturing and melodrama could end up loving it. But otherwise, it's just a lower average case.
