Aberdeen – The Beauty of Lankan Cascades This article is about the educational excursion of Lankadeepa team 2014 to investigate Aberdeen fall. We have to walk through the thick forest to reach the base of the waterfall. The waterfall was violated with the downpour in the central high lands. We all got wet though we were standing in a certain distance. However,Aberdeen Waterfall Articles we were lucky enough to experience the beauty of Aberdeen after the long journey. Our feet were suffering from constant attacks of leeches nearby. We have never seen such violated cascade before. It was a fresh experience for our lankadeepa friends. The thicker forest made our path difficult. Wonderful Aberdeen fall is 32 feet high and it is the 18th heist waterfall in the island. Its origin is a tributary of Kelani River called Kehebul oya. The Aberdeen fall is located close to Ginigathhena city in the central province. The waterfall was named by British to recall the third largest city of Scotland. Anybody feels like a living in a paradise when you reach to this marvelous creation of the Mother Nature.
