•    Most people don’t know how to use fire extinguishers. There are different types of fire extinguishers for different types of fires. Using them appropriately is the thing to be learnt correctly by a good fire marshal. One must know when to update, upgrade and change the fire extinguisher as it comes with an expiry date. Also, they must be installed at the entry and the exit gate, in the kitchen area and at a regular distance in the corridor. A refresher course is good to be taken after every three years of the fire marshal course.
