Let’s Concern the Donated Christmas Tree Decorations

The Christmas Day, as most people on the world will pay much closer attention and make Christmas tree decorations, the Christmas trees are certainly necessary for the creative holiday each year! Then, this year’s attractive Christmas tree donation is coming: Mrs Juneau, who lives in Aurora Township, donated her pine tree with 41 foot and 4000 pound.

The donated tree is named Aurora’s Official Christmas Tree. After four years of living in Rene Juneau’s front yard, and last year being backup tree, it is finally Aurora’s turn. As Juneau said, the tree was at the home on Audrey Avenue before she moved in 31 years ago. Her family decorated the outdoor tree for many years before it became too big. So, as Juneau said:” daughter was kind of emotional, but it’s really opened up the front of my house.”

Till now, the city workers have transported this year's official Christmas tree down Route 25 in Aurora en route to North Island Center on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010.

For all person interested in decorating the tree, can give their suggestions adding a decoration such as Christmas Red Bowtie to the tree can drop off ornaments by 5 p.m. Friday at City Hall, 44 E. Downer Place; the Special Events Office, 5 E. Downer Place, Suite A; or the Customer Service Center, 3770 McCoy Drive. A form for submission of ornaments can be downloaded at aurora-il.org.
