A must have Survival Guide for military service members, veterans and their families. Finally one resource to help you navigate your way through the red tape jungle of bureaucracy! Sadly this guide was not produced by the Veterans Administration, the individual Branches of Service nor Congress. Hats off to the Veterans For America group for their hard work to compile such a wonderful resource.

Why did the US Government force retiring,Survival Guide for Servicemembers and Veterans Articles disabled service members to fight a 2nd combat - this time with red tape, lack of education, and withheld benefit information? Surely from the early 70's to present day that has changed.

That was almost 40 years ago so surely during that time something has been generated to improve the handling of military issues. Although once important to Charlie these same issues continue today with a news report concerning a young widow who did not know what benefits her fallen soldier husband was entitled to. How could this happen in today's internet adapted world? We began searching for a source that would provide needed information to soldiers, veterans and their families for all types of issues that they face. During that research we found the following shocking results:

Immediately we went to the Veterans Administration... no we did not find it there. We even tried each separate military branch... no we did not find it there. We knew at that point that Congress would not know where to find such information so we did not even try them.

After all, they are scrambling to find money for the sod at the National Mall since it was supposedly deleted from the stimulus package this week.

We found a very intensive 599 page guide at The Veterans For America web site.

This is a must have for any serviceman, woman, veteran or widow. It is a guide on how to cut through the red tape and bureaucracy. Download your copy today and send it to every service person and their family that you know. Here is the link -

This same website has other self help guides with topics like Agent Orange, Gulf War issues and VA claims. In addition they link to the Wounded Warriors and other important military web sites.

What a huge undertaking to create this Survival Guide must have been. Our hats are off to the Veterans For America for their steadfast approach in weeding through the red tape.

In closing, we would like to thank those who serve, have served and will serve to keep us free. Stay safe where ever you are!
