A retail store card could also be considered as a type of bad credit credit cards. Its easy to get these cards and are useful if you want to establish credit history. However, these cards usually carry a low credit line balance, and you can only use them at the specific retail store that issued them. Companies who offer these cards are more willing to give a you a chance than larger credit card companies.

You should find someone who will cosign to help you get bad credit credit cards. Just like with a loan, a co-signer should have good credit. The credit card company considers them as security. If you cannot pay on your account the cosigner agrees to pay the balance due. This may be difficult for a person with bad credit, but once you prove yourself to be trustworthy; you should be able to get the cosigner off your account.
