investigating. Before you make a decision to sign a contract for a
gym membership, there are 10 things you should investigate.
Check out the quality of the gym equipment. Does it look rusty and
like it could go to a thrift store at any minute or is it in good

you have a choice between two gyms that are roughly the same price,
extra amenities can help you make a decision towards one gym over
another. Sometimes paying a little extra a month can be worth the

Ask about the specifics of the membership contract. How long are you
bound to the contract and under what circumstances can you get out of
the contract? If you move, how many miles away from the gym do you
have to move in order to be released from the contract? The last
thing you want is to be bound to a contract with a gym when you live
too far away to go consistently.
