For instance if you are having a wedding at the beach in the tropics you may want to go with light materials like crepe or chiffon and go sleeveless due to the hot temperatures experienced in this areas. This will save you from sweating a lot and ruining your makeup.

The theme: Nowadays people do not necessarily follow the tradition of wearing white wedding dresses. Brides know have the freedom to choose the colour they want depending on their theme colour for the wedding décor. This makes sure that everything blends well and looks pleasing to the eye.

It should be wearable: It is your wedding so comfort should be high up in the list when choosing a wedding dress. Touch and feel it to see if it can crease to ensure that when you wear it , it will be wont be stiff so as to cause you discomfort. The train should be of reasonable length and allow ease of movement. Or you can opt for a detachable one.

As a bride always remember that the wedding is ultimately about you so you are free to break a couple of rules to get the wedding dress that your hearts desires.
