Welcome back food enthusiasts, and for the last time, sadly! Our long and adventurous adventure to finding the Best Boston Restaurant has come to an end with this final chapter. Our final topic, and of course, everyone’s favorite part of a meal makes up our final topic. I am obviously talking about the glory that is dessert.

Welcome back food enthusiasts,Choosing the Best Boston Restaurant Part 10 Articles and for the last time, sadly! Our long and adventurous adventure to finding the Best Boston Restaurant has come to an end with this final chapter. In our previous entries we have discussed several deciding factors including: a restaurant’s name, the host, the décor, musical environment, the drink menu, appetizers, salads and entrees. We have discussed all of these extensively and hopefully you have gained valuable knowledge that will benefit you in your future restaurant endeavors. But, until then, lets talk about our final topic, and of course, everyone’s favorite part of a meal. I am obviously talking about the glory that is dessert.

Dessert is that finishing touch to any good meal. Even after a bad meal, you can salvage your evening by having an amazing dessert. When on a date you can get something chocolate and rich that brings a slight quiver to your thighs. Yes, a dessert can be THAT good.

The options for dessert are endless. There is the traditional ice cream sundae with all the fixings. My personal favorite is a double scoop of chocolate ice cream with caramel crunch topping and a touch of chocolate jimmies. Do not call them sprinkles; those are the multi colored ones.

To be considered a Best Boston Restaurant, an establishment must offer a molten chocolate lava cake topped with a scoop of ice cream. Nothing beats ending the perfect date with the act of feeding each other little spoonful’s of chocolate cake while starring into each other’s eyes and sipping your flute of champagne. Sounds like the perfect date to me. However, if you are not fortunate enough to be wined and dined by that special someone that you’ve had your eye on, have no fear, some places serve individual sized desserts.

If you do not have as much of a sweet tooth as I clearly do, you can always go for a fruitier dessert. One excellent option that I have seen is a fondue plate. This features fresh fruits and the occasional selection of marshmallows. The best selection that I have seen includes strawberries, banana, pineapple, and marshmallows.

Now that your mouth is watering and your stomach making those “feed me” noises, we can analyze what we have just learned. Dessert isn’t just about satisfying your sweet tooth; it can be about getting closer to your date, finding a healthier option while still getting a hint of gluttony with that fondue, and also about that little after dinner cocktail that can incite wondrous conversations with your dinner guests.

Well my fellow food adventurers, the journey has been fun and I hope you have learned all I can teach you about seeking out the best places to indulge while in Boston. Don’t forget: it’s all about being selective, doing your research, and being observant. If you continue to be a risk taker that does his research, I can guarantee that you will come across restaurants you never thought you would find. The search for good food never ends and you should explore every option at hand.
