Alright my hungry hippos! It is the moment you have been waiting for,Finding the Perfect Back Bay Restaurant Experience Part 6 Articles the main course.  This is what we came for, we chose this Back Bay Restaurant for this delicious, taste bud melting entrée. The restaurant may be cool, the server could be fantastic, the appetizers could satisfy your desire to munch but let’s be honest, if the entrée does not step up to the plate (no pun intended :P) your experience will not be a memorable one.

You and your friends should all be able to find an entrée that satisfies your craving. I am talking chicken, steak, shrimp, pasta, lasagna, barbeque, lobster, clams, fish, beef or pork whatever your stomach desires today you should not be denied it by your menu. Not only should there be a variety of items on the menu but various types of it as well; such as a well prepared Chicken parmesan, or Marsala, Alfredo, of crusted, spiced shrimp. This is the part of the menu that has no excuse for limiting your options. If you are having a difficult time selecting a course because there are so many appealing selections, then this restaurant is doing the right thing.

Beyond simply offering a vast selection, it is vital that these choices are also of prime quality. After all, quantity is important but quality should never be sacrificed for the sake of a wider menu. If the venue offers steaks or burgers they should be cooked to your personal liking, and treated with the proper care. I expect my chicken to be flavored well, and accented splendidly by its seasoning and sautéed mushrooms. The meats should melt on my tongue and the flavoring should make my taste buds tingle in excitement and pleasure.

For the seafood lovers, and no I do not mean “see food” and eat it, for those that love bait and hooked goodness from the sea your meal should be guaranteed fresh. There is nothing worse than food poisoning or an upset stomach from low grade seafood. I have also eaten a lot of seafood in my day, so I expect it to be more than just a slab of fish from the tank. The seafood at a quality Back Bay Restaurant should be well prepared and accentuated by the proper spices and flavorings.

One thing we cannot overlook is the portion size. I understand that high-quality well prepared food is expensive and tastes amazing but, my stomach needs to be filled. I cannot leave very satisfied if my chicken tasted out of this world but was the size of a Dunkin Donuts munchkin. When I pay for a meal, I am paying for quality, but let’s not forget I came here because I was hungry, I want to fill stomach to 100% satisfaction.

The only thing to watch out for you hungry gobblers is that you don’t fill up to much on your appetizers, soups, side dishes or main course or you will end up missing out on the ideal Back Bay Restaurant desert.
