The driveway is one of the most important parts of the garden,The choices for your driveway Articles since it is the first thing that people see when they approach the house, and the fencing you have will make a very powerful first impression. What type of driveway garden fencing you use will depend on the type of impression you are trying to create and of course how much money you want to spend, since budget is a very important part of any garden design job.

There are really only a few choices to be made when it comes to putting a fence or a boundary on your driveway, and the most important one is how much of an impression do you want to make. If you are looking for something subtle, but which can also have a certain striking element about it, then one thing to consider is the simple white picket fence. This can really draw the eye along the driveway, and if the driveway is fairly short can make the road actually seem much longer.

Another way to have a fence or boundary that is striking but without being too visual, is to simply use some form of garden edging, such as brick edging. This can be especially striking when it is painted, perhaps in some high-visibility paint such as white.

But if you want to make a very classy impression, there really is nothing better than a low brick wall that is topped with a rail fence, especially one with decorative finials. These can be very striking, and although these will be on the expensive side, they can be worth the expense for the impression they give.
