Building A Plastic Surgeon Website

Does your surgical practice need a website? The article below will provide you with a few tips to help you captivate potential patients.

A plastic surgeon who is interested in advertising their services on the internet must build a compelling and professional site that sells visitors on their services. Everything from the graphics to the general design and persuasive wordage must be present in order to turn the typical browser into a potential client. In this article, we will offer up a few tips to help you build a plastic surgeon website.

Step 1 - Before you get to designing, you're going to need to deal with the backend. Determine and register your domain name. The name should ideally be similar or the same as the company or physician being represented. If you find yourself in a tough spot, the words "surgeons" and "plastic surgery" are always choice.

Step 2 - Purchase a hosting account for your website. This account must offer enough storage for a professional site and provide the user with domain-specific email access. Copy and paste the nameservers to the domain account page from the hosting account. By doing this, you are telling the domain to direct to the hosting account.

Step 3 - Look around and determine your website graphics and templates. You can either build your own, hire a professional designer or purchase a professional template. If you choose a template, be sure that it includes a graphic header, user-friendly navigation and soft colors. Some of these sites may cater more towards females, which can be reflected by the colors you choose. Next, navigate to the control panel and transfer the template to the hosting account. Add this to each page.

Step 4 - Now for the fun part! Start out with a variety of photos of beautiful people: Pretty women, chiseled chests, busts and smiles. Professional photos can be purchased from a number of online resources. Plastic surgeons are hired by people to address imperfections. As such, having an attractive model or 5 on the front page is crucial in helping potential clients choose your practice.

Step 5 - Content! Your home page should be filled with information regarding the physicians, the benefits of plastic surgery, the types of procedures offered by the practice and any special deals. Do your best not to clutter your home page. Too much content can scare patients off. Offer a simple overview of the aforementioned topics and provide visitors with a list of links to help them find what they're looking for.

Step 6 - Start adding pages to the site. For instance: one page should offer up additional information about the physicians and office staff. Include a picture next to each description. Another page should outline various procedures offered by the practice. If you have past patient testimonials, be sure to create a page for this as well. Before and after pictures for the WIN! This will show potential patients exactly what the surgeon is capable of.

Step 7 - Be sure to add all of your contact information to the site as well. Ideally, you'll want to have a number and address at the top of each page, but if you get stuckBusiness Management Articles, you can always add a dedicated page.
