Conservative Botox Injections For Those Not Ready To Commit

Scared to try Botox? You don’t have to make a huge commitment anymore. Conservative or baby injections of Botox, can be the answer.

Scared but interested to try something new such as Botox? Undergoing any cosmetic procedure, whether surgical or just minimally invasive such as this injectable, can be stressful and necessitate a bit of consideration. You want to explore all risks, complications, and other side effects before jumping in. While generally considered quite safe, this procedure has garnered much criticism from the media as well as public for “freezing” a person’s face. Remember when your mom told you to stop making that horrible expression or else your face will stay like that forever? Maybe that wasn’t true back then, but it can be true with Botox.

Most people’s primary worry before undergoing Botox treatments is too much of a dramatic change to their face. They don’t want to look waxy and unnatural, or worse, not be able to have full control over their facial muscles so that they can frown, smile, and create other emotions as normal. While the most skilled plastic surgeons know when to stop before you do suffer from frozen face, you still might be too nervous to take the risk.

The good news is that smaller injections are available. Choosing a smaller, more conservative dose means you are almost guaranteed full, natural facial movement mere days after injection. In the absolute worst-case scenarios, you may feel a bit stiff, but so little is used that it wears off more quickly than normal. Rather than waiting the estimated four to six months that a common sized dose of Botox requires to fade, you could be back to normal within two to three. There are still the regular risks and complications that can occur, but likewise these are greatly diminished due to the small amount injected. Normally the biggest complaints following the procedure are a bit of soreness, bruising, or redness that generally dissipates in a few hours and is more likely due to sensitive skin and the needle rather than the product.

Small injections are also great for those just seeking a short-term solution. Many brides, grooms, or even those going to a high school reunion might just want a quick makeover to really shine for that special occasion. If you like the results, you can later increase dosages gradually until you feel comfortable. Nobody will know that you’ve had “work” done, and following the event you’ll naturally fade back to your normal appearance.

Conservative Botox injections are a great option for those new to injectables or cosmetic procedures in general. However, it can get costly especially with the more temporary results that result from the low dosage. Although it might be tempting, don’t go to scammers or people who run business out of their home. They may offer you cheaper rates but could be using an inferior product or something that is even dangerous. Always seek qualified plastic surgeons, aestheticiansArticle Search, or even in some states skilled dentists who have had many years experience with the injectable.
