The good thing about alternative treatments is that it will have several directions you can choose from, but regardless of how well many of these treatments have worked for the rest of the world, the U.S. government stands firm on the grounds that know what is the best treatments to be used by the medical community and they have the right to choose the treatment every patient should get; of course, all of this is mandated by their rules. One example of this is parents of a child that refused to let their child undergo horrifying and painful chemotherapy and radiation treatments can be jailed and the treatments forced upon the child.

Freedom, as wonderful as it is, in health care, however in America you may not really enjoy the freedom to choose, if it is contrary to the powers that be. It is amazing when you start thinking about cancer treatments in this country because when you look at the treatment regimen for the average cancer patient, it is nothing short of pure torture. And yet we as a society go running to the medical professionals and beg for the poisons that they are offering even though overall they show very little progress in the area of making people well and for the most part knock people down until they can't take it any more.

It is a known fact that the average cancer patient does not die of the cancer disease. It is instead most of the time caused by drug-induced hepatitis, which is the result of all the drugs and mixture of drugs that are prescribed to cure the cancer. The sad fact is that when time is up it is up for everyone and all the so called modern medical miracles cannot stop the angel of death from collecting what they come for.

Insurance companies and the government agencies can't, nor will they stop you from finding other forms of treatments, but you might have to pay for it yourself. This situation is different if there is a young child involved. If you have serious concerns for the treatments subscribed to your child you could have a long hard battle to make any headway in regards to the case. You can always fight to get your rights recognized and this is important. Having rights should mean that you have the right to at least have a say so in the decision making process concerning the course of treatment you or your child will receive. But as with most things in life there are no guarantees, and with this in mind making the best decision you can be comfortable with might be your only recourse.
