In severe cases you can even try wearing no underwear at all, since this will result in less friction and quick healing.

One of the most common home remedies for herpes is to apply baking soda directly on the affected area. This will keep it dry and reduce itching. Consuming black coffee without sugar is also beneficial in treating herpes. After having the coffee you can even try applying the remains in the cup directly to the infected area.

Take a pot and add a cup of olive oil in it. Now add some lavender oil and bee wax to the pot and cook the mixture. Once it is cool you can apply this mixture on the herpes. This method is very helpful for the treatment of herpes. Cornstarch is known to provide relief from the pain and discomfort due to herpes. All you need to do is dab the infected area by a cotton ball dipped in cornstarch.
