How to Get Rid of Blackheads

Acne is the most common skin disease treated by physicians. It is a chronic condition that affects over 85% of adolescents and young adults. One study showed that two-thirds of teenagers with acne wanted to talk to their physician about their acne, but only one-third actually did.

Cause of blackheads.

Blackheads are caused when sebum collects and hardens in the pores. The congesting toxins that are being expelled through your skin from the blood and lymph fluid combines with sebum creating a pasty glue. The exposed tip becomes oxidized and black, hence the name - blackheads . Oily and combination skins are most susceptible to these. The skin's most dense oil glands are located in T-zone. That is why there you get the most blackheads.

Symptoms

There are two main types of acne: non-inflammatory and inflammatory.

In non-inflammatory acne, there are usually just a few whiteheads and blackheads on the face. A relatively mild type of acne, it can often be treated effectively with nonprescription medicines. The majority of people with acne have this type of acne.

Treatment

Home Ramedies:-

1.    Take one tablespoon black pepper powder and add to it enough curd to make thick paste. Apply on the infected area and let it dry. Wash off after 5-7 minutes. This is an effective cure for blackheads or to get rid of blackheads.
2.    The benzol peroxide helps to soften the blackheads with the oxygen it contains.
3.    Take 2 tablespoons of orange peel powder and add 4 tablespoons of yoghurt to make a paste. Apply all over the face, while gently rubbing in circular motion. Wash off with cold water. An excellent way to prevent clogged pores and keep the skin clean and healthy.
4.    Another effective remedies for blackhead is to mix two teaspoons soda bicarbonate with three cups of boiled water. Steam a towel in this and place the towel on face. Repeat this around five to six times a day.
5.    Make a paste by mixing one teaspoon curd and one teaspoon of rice flour. Rub this paste on the area of blackheads and on getting dry, wash it off with cold water.
6.    Just apply toothpaste dry directly on to the problem area then let it stay on for at least 25 minutes. For the pimple the top will dissapear but remeber to wash your face and hands after the pimple pops. When toothpaste is applied burning might happen but this is normal. The blackhead solution will take 2 weeks for 100% of the blackheads to dissapear.
7.    Dont wipe off your nose after bathing and rub it with your fore fingers. This will help in removing blackheads.
8.    Mix glycerin soap, fuller's earth, almond powder in the ratio of 2:1:4 i.e. for each 20 gram of glycerin soap add 10 grams of fuller's earth with 40 grams of almond powder. Mix in it boiled water and make a paste. Apply the paste on the blackheads.
9.    To rid blackheads, mix cornstarch with vinegar, plaster on the area for 15-30 minutes; wash off with washcloth and warm water.
10.    Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent acne, pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
11.    Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.
12.    Make solution with one cups of hot water and half a tablespoon of boric powder. It is an good remedy for blackheads. Saturate a face napkin in this hot solution and press on to the skin, repeat it twice. Extract blackheads carefully with a blackhead extractor and sterilized cottonwool. The blackhead extractor you use should be a sterlized one. Now put on astrigent lotion.
13.    Mix groundnut oil with an equal amtount of fresh lime juice and apply on face. leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. It may be applied daily to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples.
14.    Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply it on face to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples.
