Long Beach Compassion Clubs

The term "dispensary" in the United States of America refers to government agencies that are involved in selling alcoholic beverages. In the United States medical cannabis is sold in specially designated stores called "dispensary" or "compassion clubs" in States that have legalized the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes.

California, New Mexico, Colorado and Rhode Island are presently the only states to use "dispensaries" to sell medicinal cannabis compounds and extracts.

According to the Wall Street Journal it is estimated that marijuana legalization would help in generating more than $1 billion annually for the cash deficient state.
