Having cosmetic surgery is a great way to change some of the things you don't like about yourself. If you're going to do it, though, don't let cost dictate what plastic surgeon you hire.

If you've decided to have some work done, then you know you need to hire a professional. You won't hire someone to come into your home to fix something if they weren't qualified to do the job would you? Cosmetic surgery is a surgery. That means there are all types of risks that go along with it. No matter what you have done, anytime you go under anesthesia you run a risk of complications. While, yes, even a certified physician can have a problem case or two, they are less likely to botch a nose job or breast augmentation than someone who is not certified to do the procedure that you want done.
There are times when it is okay to see a non-certified plastic surgeon. Because the certification process is so rigorous there may be times when you can't get into see a certified physician. You do so at your own risk, and often times the procedure could wait until a spot became available.
