Simple Ways of Curing Snore

Snoring in a loud way has tremendous harmful effects. If you and your partner both having a problem of snoring then it is very difficult to share bed with each other. Snoring may become the cause of divorce in some cases. According to a survey, almost 40% of the middle-aged persons suffer from snoring problem. However, the ratio between men and women is 2: 1. Almost 85% of the [people suffering from snore exceeds the 38 decibels of sound which is equal to sound produce by light traffic. In some cases, the level of sound produce during snoring may reach 93 decibels.

There are number of ways for snore treatment such as the use of lasers and surgery, wearing some kind of breathing equipment etc. However, the best possible solution for snoring problem is mixture of some exercises and a healthy diet. Try to keep yourself away from smoking, as smoking is root cause of many diseases. Smoking causes irritation of the throat and hence snoring problem. Also, try to avoid alcohol or at least reduce the quantity of alcohol you are taking. Because alcohol is a depressant and it causes our muscles to relax. Overweight is another cause of snoring. Those people who often eat fatty foods in their diet, suffers from snoring as fatty foods develop fatty tissue around the throat and hence restricts the passage of air through throat.

There are number of websites on the internet that provides information about healthy diet, but your diet should contain necessary amounts of carbohydrates, proteins and minerals. Always eat food few hours before you go to bed as undigested food may puts pressure on your diaphragm and hence snoring. Never drink milk before taking food as it may leads to snoring. Try to have some honey before an hour of going to bed as honey makes the passage of air clear through the throat.

During sleeping, our muscles have a tendency to relax which includes our soft palate and block the passage of air and hence snoring. So, try some exercises in order to prevent yourself from unwanted snoring. Pucker your lips for 20 to 30 seconds and then relax for a while. Repeat the process regularly to cure your snoring. Try to open your mouth as wide as possible. Weak tongue also becomes the cause of snoring. So, strengthen your tongue by stretching, holding and relaxing your tongue for 20 to 30 times.
