Just think of how many choices you have to make each and every day. It would be hard to count. What you're going to eat for breakfast,Some Choices For Better Health And A Better Body Articles lunch, dinner. What you're going to wear, what you're going to do first, and so on and so on.

I hope you have made the wise choice of being thin and healthy. You might not be as thin and healthy as you want to be right now, but you are working very hard to be that way. You want all the information and answers on how to become thin and healthy, and you want it to be simple and easy, because you do not have the time or the energy for anything difficult. I think I can help.

This is the beautiful part; all you have to do is make some simple choices. You might not even break a sweat, it will be that easy for you to become much healthier and become thinner.

The first choice is to make it a goal or commitment to being healthier and thinner. I want you to know, and this has been proven in many, many studies, that a goal is not a goal until it is hand written down on paper. Those who do not write down their goals are most likely never to accomplish them. Go one step farther and write down all the reasons for wanting to achieve that goal.

The second choice I think you should make is to get educated on what you are eating and drinking. This is going to take some of you time, but it is going to be time well spent. I will tell you right now, today you have eaten something or drank something that is not good for you. I would bet on it.

Did you know that the trans fat you had today takes eight months for your body to dissolve it? I hope you know of all the health risks and the body fat that trans fat causes. I will tell you this, if you count your calories, and keep them low, that you will still gain weight, especially in the tummy, if you still consume trans fats. Do you know about the problems that are caused by drinking carbonation? Any carbonation, even just carbonated water. The trainer for the Phoenix Suns will not even speak to an athlete that drinks any carbonated drink, let alone train them, or work with them.

There are many diets and weight loss plans. I lost count a long time ago. I have been on many of them though. Then I simply just got educated on good foods, and bad foods. Now I'm over 50 pounds lighter and feel so much better. Thus I am much healthier. That is just since the first of the year and I'm proud of that. The beautiful think is, I now know that this is a lifetime achievement too. I enjoy living and eating the way I do. I think you can and will do the same.

Start tomorrow morning by just cutting out the worst food or drink that you consume. Think about what food or drink has the most calories, and is not good for you. Skip that for tomorrow, or from now on. Make that choice tomorrow, one simple choice. What one thing will you not have tomorrow? Just that one thing could be adding a pound or two or more to your body each week.

Think of a healthy alternative to take its place. Keep track of what you are feeding yourself. Also, think of what you are feeding your family too. Next time you go to the grocery store look at every food label. There are so many alternative foods you start using. Honey on your whole grain bread instead of margarine on your white bread would be a good one. That will keep you out of the doctor's office. Wild rice instead of white rice. There are two examples, but there are many, many more choices for you to make. I'm sure you will find that healthy food is good too. You can do a lot of different things with it to make your meals gourmet. Many of them can be simple and quick to make too. It only takes a few minutes for vegetables to steam and lean meats and sea foods cook quickly. You are probably sick of the foods you eat right now anyway. It is time for a healthy change.

I don't recommend you quit everything cold turkey. Experiment with some different healthy foods each week. Try and just go to the store only once a week and buy lots of fruits and vegetables and some very lean meats. Maybe some dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate if you like chocolate. If you like ice cream, try low fat frozen yogurt this week. Read the labels, not just the calories, but look at the fats and sugar contents too. Read the ingredients. Always look for the words 'partially hydrogenated' on the ingredient list of any food. That tells you the product has trans fats. How much depends on how high up on the list the words are and how big a serving you have. If partially hydrogenated appears at or near the top of the list, pick an alternative that uses nonhydrogenated oils, such as canola or olive. If you can not pronounce the names near the top of the ingredients put it back on the shelve and carefully walk away (or you can run away).

Learn about food, what is good, and what is bad. I have learned that your body does need all of the food categories. It needs proteins, carbohydrates, fats (monounsaturated & polyunsaturated), fiber and vitamins. There are great benefits in all of them, and your body needs a well balanced diet of all of them. That has been proven by many people from all walks of live in many studies.

So, to recap, make the choice to become thinner and healthier, and make the choices of what foods you are going to eat, or not eat to become that way. No sweat, right?
