Life at this day and age is much more complicated and fast-paced than a few years or decades ago. The reasons for tiredness vary depending on the individual. Whatever your reason is - may it be medical problems, stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, lack of exercise or unhealthy lifestyle - you can stop tiredness if only you know how.

These dos and don'ts shall guide and help you win your battle over tiredness:

Dos:

Eat the right foods. Go for a healthy and well-balanced diet.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday.
Try to get good quality sleep.
Pay attention to your sleep cycle.
Sleep in a cozy, quiet and well-ventilated room.
Do something relaxing before you go to sleep. Read a light book or meditate.
Think positive.
Exercise regularly. Do a light workout routine. Walk or jog.
Take a power nap.
Take the right amount of vitamin supplements.
Have fun under the sun.
Get some fresh air.
Engage in sports.
Take a vacation.
Manage and get rid of stress.

Don'ts:

Eat in large portions.
Eat too much sugary foods.
Drink fluids a few hours before bedtime.
Skimp on sleep.
Oversleep.
Sleep in a too cold or too hot, too dark or too bright room.
Watch TV, drink coffee, think of your worries and fears before you go to sleep.
Entertain negative feelings and thoughts.
Do heavy lifting, a long-mile run and other strenuous tasks.
Take alcohol and drugs.
Go to too polluted places.
Let stress beat you down.

There are probably a hundred or a thousand more things you can do to stop tiredness. But to top it all off, the most basic thing that you must do is to lead a healthy lifestyle. Get good sleep, good nutrition, do proper exercise and avoid stress and you will successfully stop tiredness.
