There Is No Diet Substitute For Refreshing Water

We are what we eat, but we are also what we eat and drink. Beverages are consumed in America by the millions of gallons every day with very little focus on what we are really allowing ourselves to drink. Beverages have a very alarming effect on our overall health and health issues we are dealing with. What we are told about many of these drinks and what the truth is, are very misleading.

It is also true that beverages have a larger than life impact on the health of Americans and not in a very good way, creating some very serious heath problems as our thirst is quenched every day.

Until we begin a diet to help our health get back on track, do we even realize the destruction that much of what we drink is doing to our health. Beverages can be solely responsible for high levels of calorie intake on a daily basis and that we might be very unaware that what we are drinking is slowly killing us. Consuming sugar amounts that some of these drinks, including those advertised to be natural juices, is setting the stage for health diseases such as diabetes later in life if allow to continue for years and years unchecked or addressed.

There is nothing more natural or refreshing as plain untampered with water for the body. Black coffee and herbal teas also give many benefits to the body if you consume them without adding many of the acceptable additives we have been known to add to these natural liquids. Keeping these drinks at near to chemical free, would be a very refreshing change for our body and health.

Many parents are encouraged by health care professionals to make sure that their children consume plenty of milk and juice but in essence both of these items have a lot of sugar which has been attributed to tooth decay in babies and young children. It is a much better decision to have your child begin drinking water early on and will help to keep them healthier and thinner into adulthood.

Changing the beverages you consume can significantly impact your health and the health of your entire family. Many people think that the beverages they consume don't really count but when you look at the bigger picture you may be surprised at how much of an impact these items truly have on your overall health.
