Vaporizer v.s HumidifierOver the time the treatment people follow for the seasonal change which is usually accompanied by common cold is not through the regular medication of anti- biotic drugs. Humidifiers as the name suggest maintain the humidity of the atmosphere which is particularly indoors specially during winter times. This regulation of atmospheric humidity by humidifier is done by the fine spray of moisture into the atmosphere. The droplets stay in the air for a longer period of time thus levitating the humidity level. Such alleviated humidity levels help a lot in the problems of congestion or respiratory problems that are usually encountered as the symptoms or effects of common cold. Now vaporizers too does the same basic job of the regulation of humidity in the atmosphere but with a different approach which is much more beneficial compared to the humidifiers. The vaporizer heats the water in it to boil it and thus expels the water vapor in the air. Also to be said in other terms , it is not the water that the vaporizer expels it is the steam. One true benefit that comes out straight away is that the fine spray of water in humidifier may also spray any pathogens in the water along but the ejection of steam avoids such thing because the boiling of water will kill any pathogen or harmful organisms within the water. Then again care of the water stored in the tank is to be taken whether it is a vaporizer or a humidifier. Storage of water for long time in a closed tank may lead to the generation of bacteria of mosses or fungi or anything harmful thing hence it is always advisable to keep it clean and dry when the vaporizer is not in use and if it is used regularly then water in the tank is to be replaced or changed or even flushed every day so that fresh water is regulated in the vaporizer each time.
