Vaporizers and Their Types

A lot of people still do not have a proper idea about the product which is commonly known as vaporizers. What exactly they are, you may ask. The answer is pretty simple, once you get to see the device.

These merchandise help extract and deliver the active ingredients of any herb provided. The residual product is in the form of vapor or fumes, containing high amounts of plant extracts. The process is slightly similar to smoking, as it involves heat, but not in a direct form. As opposed to smoking where the plants are exposed to direct fire, this is a gentler process which does not decimate the essential extracts and oils. Rather this help in gently bringing out the subtle hints and help extract them without releasing harmful chemicals like tar and carbon monoxide. For their more delicate nature, they are sometimes used by chefs to delicately flavor food, so that they can hint at a certain smell rather than overtly infusing it with that aroma, which smoking often does.

Rather than eating any given drug, inhaling it is a faster procedure, and it affects the body easily, so that it can be more quickly absorbed and can go into action in a faster way. Effectively, there are a few different methods of the vaporizing process. These are as follows –
1.    Thermal Conduction
2.    Convection
3.    Thermal Radiation

Through thermal conduction, the mass is put on a hot plate so that it can release its essential elements easily. This was the earliest method of vaporizing, and used in vaporizers. They are still in production till date.
Convection is another method where the mass is never kept in contact with any hot surface. Rather, a constant, steady flow of hot air is channeled at the mass so that the active ingredients in the mass are immediately released to it. This is a safe and quicker method, which is preferred by vaporizer-makers because it is more convenient.

In the third method of thermal radiation, the mass is constantly exposed over a period of time to bright light, which conveys its warmth to it, inducing the release of vapors in the air as the matter absorbs the energy from the radiation of the light. However this method is more time-consuming, and quite ineffective to mass productionFree Articles, so it is not used much in the process of vapor-making.

These are the different kinds of vaporizers that can be found.
