The Obama's Pastry Chef resigns because he can't use butter.
I really hate it when so called health experts peddle false information but when the White House does it ,War on Butter Articles it just ruffles my feathers.

I always recommend butter over margarine. Margarine is a concoction of fats that are superheated and filled with hydrogen molecules. Anytime you see hydrogenated on a label run for the hills. Safflower, corn, soybean and especially canola oil are not good at all. Canola is super heated, and treated with the solvent hexane and other added chemicals. Then they have to add a perfuming agent because it smells so bad no one would buy it, let alone eat it.

Given the choice between butter and these Franken-oils that the food industry have concocted to make huge profits, butter wins every time. They cause more oxidation and free radical damage. Olive oil is my favorite but you can't cook with it as it breaks down under high heat. You can sauté with it though. Butter is your best choice. In fact dairy has gotten a bad rap in the past years, but a new study supports the use of dairy in a positive light.

Dairy consumption does not elevate heart attack risk
What?! Dairy is good for you! A ten yearlong study of 3,630[1][1] middle-aged Costa Rican men and women concluded that "We looked at [heart attack risk and] dairy products in their entirety and then looked at separate components of those dairy products, including fats, and it turns out that the results are null. Perhaps the evidence is not there.”

I have always thought that there was a witch hunt against dairy and eggs and this study uncovers some hidden stats that are eye opening. The analysis of dairy intake and heart attack risk found no statistically significant relation in thousands of Costa Rican adults.

You need the cholesterol and saturated fats to make all the hormones in the body and they are essential to other metabolic functions. Not only are fats and protein important but dairy also contain vitamin D, potassium, magnesium and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), all good for you.
Diary and eggs have gotten bad publicity. Once thought to be villains are now known to be beneficial for fat and protein content. Both are essential for building cells, making hormones and enzymes and vital for normal physiological function. You just can't isolate one thing like cholesterol and say it's bad for you.

I never buy low fat milk and I always buy butter. Margarine is just plain poison in my opinion. Margarine is a super heated chemical concoction that has trans fats and it not something I want in my body. The study above mentioned was funded by the National Institutes of Health. Maybe the White House should read it.

A bigger much bigger concern than butter intake is inflammation, it is the worst enemy in the body. Taking anti oxidants are key for maximum artery and cardiovascular health and to other prevent disease. So please eat foods high in anti oxidants and take your vitamins regularly.

From the Heart,

P.S. Stop taking advice from the Obamas on what not to eat. Taking essential aminos like arginie, carnitine ,nurtraceuticals like pycnogenol along with all the essential vitamins is a better approach.
