Here is a little piece that you can start up with. Follow these simple and detailed steps to make a funky and cool bracelet. All you need to take is some silver wires (28 & 26 gauge), colored beads (of your choice), a crochet hook and a wooden clamp. Starting with crochet-

  • With a wire (28 gauge) and 2mm crochet hook start making chain stitches until you get single row of stitches of 5 or 6 inches in length.
  • Now you need double crochet stitches that will add some depth to your design. For this double crochet in each chain stitch of the first row.
  • Continue doing this till you get a band of chain stitches, three rows wide.
  • Snap off at the end. You need one more similar band like this.
  • Now these two bands need to be joined by another band which is macramé.
  • For macramé you need eight 26 gauge wire, one foot long and fix them to a wooden clamp.
  • Now start tying knots by moving one wire over the two middle ones and the other one under it to create a square knot.
  • Continue knotting and slide in the beads at equal intervals till you have a whole row of beads in macramé knots.
  • Now you need to connect the three bands together to complete your bracelet.
  • For this sew together the crocheted bands on either side of the macramé piece with wires.
  • Your bracelet is pretty much ready except the ends which you need to tidy up a bit.
  • Bend one of the wires and braid the other wires onto it.
  • Now slid in a bar to hide the wires and attach a clasp to it.
