Guide for leveling your world of warcraft Paladin.

Leveling a Paladin is great fun but it also involves substantial flexibility. You may be tanking with your party now,WOW Paladin Leveling & Quest Guide Articles but two minutes from now you will be performing as the team healer. This is not a problem for the adaptable Paladin class. The Paladin is primarily a melee class that favors the sword or mace but is not very efficient at dealing long range damage. Fortunately this is not much of an issue since the Paladin will pretty much always be engaged in hand to hand combat.

WOW Paladin Leveling & Quest Guide Lets take a look at the various races available for the Paladin class: Originaly the Paladin was a alliance class exclusively so you where limited to only two races. Your world of warcraft Paladin had to either be a dwarf or a human. While both races made excellent Paladins they were pretty much equal, not leaving any variety for the Paladin. As a human Paladin you gained a 10% bonus to reputation gained but not much else. As a dwarf Paladin you had the bonuses of Stone Form and Cold Resistance, but the Gun Specialization of dwarves was of no use. Pretty much six of one and half a dozen of the other. Not until the world of warcraft Burning Crusade expansion did the Paladin class expand to permit the new blood elf horde race to assume the Paladin role bringing with them the Arcane Torrent skill. The new draenei race was also introduced as a alliance Paladin in wow. At the very start, no matter what character class or race you are leveling I recommend keeping it simple. Play your new Paladin with caution at first until you really get the gist of it. Keep your fighting time minimal at first, fight a bit and then back away to make sure your ok. Always be on a quest, this will help you get better items and will help with leveling up. There may be quests in wow that you will not find unless you look for them, so talk to all NPC's in each area you are in.

Paladin PVP Guide You should be eager to learn all about your characters skills and abilities, the wow trainer's are the people that will teach you what you need to know for leveling up your character. And don't forget to look into what professions you might be interested in pursuing. Learning professions is a big part of the game, don't take them lightly. Some professions are better than others, you will find certain professions to be helpful to you in your early levels but others more beneficial as you get to the higher levels. This may sound a little strange at this point but after you get through the first half a dozen levels or so you should put a little gold aside so that when you hit level twenty you can buy a mount to speed up your leveling in the world of warcraft.

Leveling a Paladin solo or in a group:

Being that the Paladin is an excellent melee fighter with both offensive and defensive auras and has self healing abilities, it is a perfect soloing character. Many gamers consider the Paladin to be the best character class when it comes to playing solo. Being that the Paladin is great for soloing, you should play solo most of the time. The Paladin can be played as a tank and a healer which makes it a valuable team player when you are not playing solo.

The retribution spec is a great help to the Paladin and should be use as soon as possible to increase your melee damage. At first your choice of weapons will be whatever you can get but once you have some gold I suggest you try a 2 handed weapon such as a sword, hammer or axe since they will deliver the most damage. As a Paladin you will mostly be playing as a purely offensive and aggressive character so always stay focused on dealing high damage. With a 2 handed hammer you generally will be able to inflict more DPS to your enemy than most 1 handed ones will. Many  fanatics keep both a two handed and a one handed weapon with them at all times to handle multiple situations. On the flip side of using a high DPS two handed weapon you will want to get mail armor as soon as possible, preferably with bonuses to strength and stamina. Other bonuses will be helpful to you also but for now try to get armor with these two.
