These methods are all it takes to get indexed by Google. Remember, however, that getting top ranking in different search engines is quite complicated as literally millions of websites compete for the first page of the search result, not to mention the #1 search. What you have to do is to apply other SEO (search engine optimization) techniques to increase your chances of improving your ranking. Join forums, register your site in different directories, use social networking sites, etc.

The key is, promote your site in as many possible ways as you can. Make people know that your site exists. It might take a while bit if you are a newcomer, there is nowhere else to go but up.
