It is obvious - sooner or later they would suffer bankruptcy. All depends on their customers and they know it.

Imagine for example, pair of men shoes – made from quality leather, comfortable, flexible…and they have orange stripes on the black leather all across them. Would you buy those? No way. That of course is exaggeration, but in fact, even minor flaw in product could be enough to lose the customer.

Which was time consuming and inconvenient. Definitely that was not worth time, especially when payments were tiny. But now it is easy, fast and many people are willing to do that.

Market research companies are interested in your honest feedback and they are willing to pay you for this. It is a great deal for both sides – people receive payments for their opinion, and corporations increase their revenues. So would be safe to say - it is all about money. This is the reason why paid surveys exist.
