When you think of a strong, capable businesswoman, you probably don’t imagine sweet-but-silly Chrissy Snow from the 1970s TV comedy, Three’s Company. But Suzanne Somers, who made a name for herself playing the beloved character from 1977 to 1981, is just that. Throughout her life, from growing up in a blue-collar household as the child of an abusive alcoholic father, to striving for equality in a male-dominated industry, to building and caring for a family, Suzanne has learned to deal with adversity.
