The article below will offer you information about various styles of tents to help decide which tent is most suitable for your camping trip.
Dome Tents – these are common and popular styles and generally include a fabric tent and plastic tent poles or fiberglass that glide in the fabric through sleeves. Poles offer rigidity to the tent and are shaped by the fabric. They can be set up and collapsed easily, are lightweight and provides plenty of comfort and head room. Yet, in high winds they can get quite unstable.
Frame Tents – these are considered older, conventional style of tent. The frame is formed by steel or aluminum poles, over which the tent fabric, generally canvas, is draped. Recent styles make use of synthetic or cotton fabric and fiberglass frames. These tents can have a complex design, offering plenty of room inside the tent. Please note that frame tents are not always easy to setup.

These tents are great “settling in” tents and in most cases include a porch area for shelter and shade. Windows are also available with some models. You can easily stand in these tents as they are comfortable and roomy.
Geodesic Tents – these are sort of modified dome tents for better stability. The setup and frame is similar, but the framing poles connect and cross at different points for higher stability and strength. These tents are not quite as easy to set up as the regular dome tents.
Festival Tents – for family reunions, large parties or weddings, festival tents are offer shelter for guests from various weather conditions. Festival tents are usually rented for the occasion and the rental company is the one that assembly it. These tents come in various different styles and colors in order to accommodate most events and budgets.
Family Tents – these are multipart tents, with sleeping slots on one side of a main living area. The section of the main tent is dome construction or ridge construction, while the areas on the side offer sleeping privacy.
Beach Tents – these are available in numerous varieties and are in most cases lightweight, with fiberglass pole structure and ripstop nylon. The most recent models are so called “pop-up” tents which open out in a very short time to a regular size shelter against the harsh weather or sun.
