When it comes to ways to organize your garage these days,A Versatile Garage Organizer Articles there are a lot of great systems out there, and a lot of different components. There are many different brands of cabinets, shelves, storage closets, hooks and pulley systems. But my favorite garage organizer is the Flow Wall system. There are several components to the Flow Wall, so lets take a look at the individual components and their benefits in helping you to become better organized.

The backbone of the Flow Wall system are the wall panels. Each wall panel is 12" high and come in either 4' or 8' lengths. Each wall panel is extremely strong and durable and will support up to 400 lbs. Despite their strength, they are very light and easy to handle. The panels come in three colors: silver, maple and white. The individual panels interlock together to form a customized wall system of whatever configuration you need. The configuration can also be changed when needed. The wall panels are easy to install, and can be used, not only in the garage, but in other rooms of the house such as the laundry or utility room or play room. Now, the great thing about these panels are that they are designed to hang the various accessories in whatever configuration you need, according to what you have to store and organize.

Storage bins are a must in a garage organizer. They can be hard or soft sided and come in a variety of sizes (widths and depths) and translucent colors so that you can see what is inside.  The soft baskets are great for storing sports equipment (especially balls), the small hard bins are perfect for bulk hardware. The bins are designed to hook right onto the Flow Wall.

Shelves are seen in many garage organizer systems, but there is no easier way to put them up and move them around as needed than on the versatile Flow Wall. They come in the same three colors as the panels, and in 2', 3' or 4' lengths. Made of a powder coated steel, the wire shelves allow you to see what is on the high ones from down below. They rest on brackets that are designed to hang easily on the Flow Wall.

Hooks were the original accessory for the wall, and they come in 10 different designs. They are made of high tensile steel, and hold anywhere from 40-100 pounds, depending upon the style. The tips are rubberized to help protect your items, and snap easily onto the Flow Wall. Some of the special hooks are designed to hang bikes, hoses, skis, large graden tools, rackets, ladders and more. These are great to get the hard to store type items off of the floor.

Cabinets are the latest and newest item designed to hang directly on the Flow Wall. Almost all garage organizer systems include cabinets, but the great thing about these are that you can hang them at any height that suits you best. It also keeps the cabinets off the floor, which sometimes is really nice in a garage where there can be miscellaneous spills and moisture issues. The cabinets come in various sizes, from tall to small, and you can get work surfaces that span between cabinets.

As you can see, this is a great garage organizer system, it has great flexibility and versatility. Regardless of what you have to organize, the Flow Wall system can be arranged to suit your needs, and rearranged when your needs change.
