Arzberg, a German tabletop manufacturer that offers a selection of dinnerware in simple, modern motifs. There are white patterns, as well as some with color and a selection of holiday plates. The new pattern is done in red and white and features images of children skating, skiing and Santa in his Sleigh. Form 2006, Kyoto, combines oriental and western styles, inspired by Japanese Kimono motifs. The clear cut, white porcelain is delicate looking, but durable enough to go from oven or microwave to setting a beautiful table.

German designer, Lutz Rabold, developed this eight-piece tea and coffee set in around 1983 for the Bavarian porcelain factory, Arzberg. The brightly coloured lids, handles and spouts were designed to contrast the traditional porcelain forms. Arzberg has made functional, well-designed pieces since 1931. Its wares are characterised by minimal decoration.

The Arzberg porcelain factory opened in Bavaria, Germany, in 1887 though achieved enormous success in the late 1920s when it formed a partnership with Dr Hermann Gretsch, the organiser of the 1928 Berlin Exhibition of Good Design. In 1931, Arzberg released a white porcelain tea set, called the '1382', that Gretsch designed. Considered the finest example of modernist teaware, the 1382 tea set has remained in production ever since.
