You can do so much with bean bags, throw them in the air, kick them with your feet, hit them with your head, the uses are endless. I got my first bean bag for Christmas when I was about 7 and was so puzzled what would it do? Does it make noise? Why do I want a square bag? I remember tossing it up and seeing if I could hit it on my knees.

When the weather was bad and no one else could go out and play I would sit on my grandparent's porch hitting it,Bean Bags Can Be Used For Anything Articles throwing it and whatever else I could think of. I used to love to play the game where you threw the bean bag back and forth until the music stopped then whoever was left holding it sat down. We also played hopscotch with it.

What are the in the bean bags, what makes them work, how can they take hours of abuse? I am sure this is a question that we all ask when we hold a bean bag. A bean bag is full of beads, beans or corn and has fabric on the outside.

Bean bag chairs are the hottest thing with kids today, kids of all ages but teens especially. The bean bag chair is a chair that is full of beans or miniature pieces of cut up foam that completely fills up a ball like figure which is usually closed by a zipper or velcro. Bean bag chairs are inexpensive and can be found in all colors, shapes and designs.

My favorite game when I was little was when they made a plastic board with 9 blocks, the object is to throw your bean bag on the block you want to flip over which one you want up. The object is to get three in a row of the same thing. Which some may call tic tac toe or three in a row.

I used to work at the YMCA and the kids really enjoyed getting a parachute out and then forming a circle. Then they would pick up the parachute and as they would flare it up and down, I would toss in the bean bags. The main objective was to get all the bags out of the center hole. This made a great rainy day or winter time recreational game.

If you ask someone older they will probably argue and say that it isn't called a bean bag they used to call it a corn hole which was 2 squares sewn toegther that was filled with beads, beans or corn. Then it could get tossed around and provide endless hours of fun.

This is a game that you do not have to have rules or a book, you take the bag filled with corn, beads or beans and toss it as you please. You can sit and play endless hours alone or with someone else. You can always find something to do with a bean bag. The bean bag is one toy that can provide tons of fun.
