In the case of spills try using paper towels to soak up the moisture. If there’s any solid, scrape it off. Now pour some club soda on it. In case of greasy food stains try using dish washing detergent. Just add few drops in a cup of cold water and mix it. Now apply it on the area and blot it. You can even try using a fan.

Baking soda is helpful in removing pet stains from your carpet. Just sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and wait for several minutes. Now use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the salt. In case if you have dents on your carpet caused by furniture legs then you can try putting some ice cubes on the area and let them melt. Next day you can fluff up the fibers.
