How To Build Your Personal Solar Panels for Your Home

Conversion of the sun's solar energy into electricity can be easily achieved with solar panels. This may sound high tech but truth is, it is quite easy to build your own solar panels for your home.

Building a solar panel and converting it into electrical energy can easily be completed using the sun's energy. Sounds very advanced but the truth is that building your own solar panels for your home is very easy.

Many companies build solar panels for your home and it can be very high-priced. But then again, there are those who wanted to build their own solar panels because they wanted to save money.

Solar panels for your home can generate enough power to heat the interiors, heat the water in the indoor pool, keep the electrical energy going and result to dropping electric costs for up to 50%. Once installed, you are no longer obliged to compensate for your electricity bills but instead the electric companies will pay you instead. And so, this way you are assured that electric company toxins will be reduced and cannot cause destruction of Mother Earth.

To build your own solar panels for your home basically follow these easy instructions:

1. |The following are materials used for your solar panels: ˝ sq ft per panel copper flashing sheets at around $5 per sq ft, metal sheers used for cutting the copper sheets, 2 alligator clip leads, sandpaper/wire brush attached to an electric drill, micro-ammeter, electric stove, tap water, 2 li clear plastic water container and 2 tbsp salt.

2. Using the metal sheers, cut the copper sheet. Use gloves when doing this for the sharp sides can injure the hands and this will also prevent the body oils and acid from perspiring hands getting on the sheet which can result to corrosion. Cut the sheet at more or less few millimeters more than the size of the electric stove burner.

3. Eradicate corrosions/sulphides from the copper sheets by brushing them off using the wire brush or sandpaper. Turn on the electric stove to the highest setting and position the cut sheet on top of it.

4. Try to view the colors on the metal as it oxidizes from the heat. Upon observation, when the color turns dark, the coating of the black cupric oxide developed. Set down the copper sheet on the burning heat to about an hour extra to have a thicker coating. After turning off the stove, keep the sheet on top of the burner to cool off.

5. As the copper sheets cool down, you can see the thick black coating shedding out. Once absolutely cool, flush with running water to remove the black coat but do not flex or rub the sheet. Only use the pads of your hand to avoid damage on the metal.

6. The 2 liter plastic bottle's neck is cut off leaving an enormous opening. Slice one more copper sheet with accurately the matching size with the previous one. Bend the sheets together so they can without difficulty get into manipulated the opening and whichever sides of the container. Do not let the metal sheets meet.

7. Assign an alligator clip one on each sheet. Assign the unheated sheet with the positive terminal of the micro-ammeter and the heated one to the negative terminal.

8. Heat up the faucet  water and melt the salt. Pour the salt mixture, make sure that there are still spaces left above the water. Observe the ammeter go up as it is sited under the sunlight. CongratulationsHealth Fitness Articles, you had just build your own solar panel for your home.
