If you notice that your sink and bathtub fixtures are starting to show signs of corrosion and mineral deposits, you have a bad case of hard water. Mineral deposits look like white and odd colored specks that do not come off when you try to clean them off of your sinks. Overtime, these deposits can actually eat through your fixtures. This can also affect your appliances, such as the washing machine, water heater and dishwasher.
