ÿThroughout the construction industry world-wide makita tools have left a big impression of being the best quality,Makita Tools Articles toughest equipment and supplying high quality cordless battery gear. They have also maintained good customer service practices with a history of listening to their feedback and implementing necessary changes.
Since the Japanese company focused to primary build and design power tools in 1958 they have been very focused and maintained their drive of being innovators in the industry. Their tools are branded with their typical blue and white colours and have a very modern sleek design.
Their first every product in their range of makita tools was the portable electric planer that was released in 1958 - which was the main motivator behind their decision to focus on power tools.
Since then their range has expanded rapidly including:
•  Nail guns - a must have on any construction site they manufacture air, gas and pneumatic nailers.
•  Blowers - leaf blowers and chemical sprayers have proved successful in farming and domestic demographics.
•  Grinders - specialising in angle grinders.
•  Drills - they have a reputation of making the best hammer drills, rotary hammers and everyday electric screwdrivers.
•  Planers - still constructing the tool that made them what they are today.
Unbeknown to many, aside from their standard range of makita tools they also produce the range of equipment under the Maktec banner which are also known for their high quality. These range of tools are marketed with a more competitive price primarily in Asia to compete with cheaper cheaper rivals and counterfeit goods.
With an annual turnover of over $1.7 billion dollars their major competitor is Stanley Black & Decker and this competition has encouraged growth and a healthy competition for superior products. The impression left by makita tools is that they are known as being premium quality tools with a reputation in delivering every time.
