The hallway is a really important and often ignored part of the house. Surprisingly, instead of being a warm and beautifully maintained area it becomes the hub of shoes, toys, clothes, car keys, school bags and other things kids and adults tend to shed off as soon as they get home.

For impressions however,Some Hallway Decor Tips Articles it is really essential to have a well decorated and presentable hallway as this is the first area that greets us and our guests. Upon entering our homes a clean and stunning hallway can brighten up the mood and come as a pleasant welcome after a long day.
To redo the hall, start by deciding on the color of paint and overall décor. If your living room and kitchen are designed in a traditional way, go for a traditional look for the hallway, if everything’s contemporary then go for a contemporary hallway; do not disconnect this connecting area by going for a completely different style as that will look disorienting and disturbing.
If you are not worried about the budget, then you can completely revamp your hallway by redoing the walls into book shelves or sliding doors or creating windows overlooking the patio or yard and decorating the insides with some indoor plants. If budget is a concern, there are many ways in which you can redo this area.Designate an area for all things that litter the hall, invest in some pretty decorative boxes with lids for toys and other odds and ends. Large treasure chest like boxes look great and add a very classy touch to the hallway. You can also just change one feature of the hallway like the lighting or the paint or get a funky carpet with some matching lamps that will help to create a warm look.
One of my favourite looks for the hallway is a very simple and beautiful one. This look requires one side of the hallway to be painted a light chrome or orange and requires a low hanging chandelier that is at the center of this idea. On the painted side two wooden chairs on either sides of a long, rectangular console table will rest with lamps that will be in a shade lighter than the wall paint.
This look is really easy to create and if you can find chairs with intricate carvings then you can really work this look into a traditionally styled home or switch it with contemporary, straight cut chairs to create a modern look. Go for lamps, candles stands or a vase to decorate the table, just be creative. The painted wall helps to give this look a new spin and the opposite wall can be decorated with paintings or framed pictures of the family to give the hall a bit of your life and taste. Skinny shelves pegged to the walls can also create a great look, and placing items you collected over time like souvenirs or trophies into them, can bring pleasure to guests and friends who like going through them and asking for stories. Just do not over clutter this area to maintain a fresh and breathable look.
There are so many ways you can refresh your hallway, through design, hall furniture and a just a little time and thought.
