The Different Procedures of Phone Recordings

The Phone Recorders have to be attached to the radio, telephone or audio lines. Mostly phone recorders will cover multiple lines. The phone recorder keeps track of each line and finally records it in a new phone recorder or call recording software can be used to search playback recordings.

Call monitoring can be done live in some phone recorders, while recording is being used.

There are main three types of phone recorders is available in the present time. These types are such as;

1.    PC integrated; this is the latest type of voice recorder which integrates the power of a multi channel phone recorder into a reasonably priced and easy to upgrade PC. The call recording software is installed to enable the search functions, playback, live call monitoring, archiving and in other some cases custom grading and reports. If the phone recorder is attached to an internet or network, some call recording software will allow multiple users on different computers to access recordings or do live call monitoring. The costs are cheaper because PCs are comparatively inexpensive and upgrades can be easy as installing new PC cards or call recording software. This type of phone recording is cheaper than other types, because in it service and maintenance are also inexpensive. You have no need to purchase the parts from a specialized technician.

2.    Tape; in old days telephone recorder was a big instrument that was used reel to reel tape. This procedure was costly and difficult to understand and use. The cassettes made this recording procedure easy. But in this procedure the user was required to remember to stop and start their recordings and also remember to change the tapes. Live call monitoring is impossible with the use of these tapes.

 3. Proprietary hardware; developed to replace the tape based telephone recorder, it consists of proprietary call recording software.  The main and important benefit of this procedure is that, everything works well together. This is also an expensive procedure because every repairing and maintenance of the unit is through the company and by their licensed technicians. Sometimes it is also difficult to search the same technicians.  Because software and hardware both were built in a single unitHealth Fitness Articles, but the upgrades are mostly impossible. It means that companies often had to throw away their old proprietary phone recorders when they are used to record more lines or using a new type of line.
