When shopping around for garage cabinets, don't forget to consider strength, functionality and style. These three important features can be found in Ultimate garage cabinets. But how do they justify these claims?

With spring cleaning,UltiMATE Garage Cabinets Offer Strength, Function and Style Articles there are many possibilities on projects to attack, and you want to start with the most important ones first in case you get burned out and don't finish the list. What is important will vary for each person, but for me, the top of the list is organizing the garage. With a little shopping around, I found UltiMate garage systems. They claim their systems are built to be strong, functional, and also with a bit of style. So, lets take a look at these three qualities and see how UltiMate fulfills their claims.

First, they say their garage cabinets are strong. For this strength, they make their cabinets out of 3/4" MDF (medium density fiberboard). Now this is great, and I hear it often, but I really didn't know what MDF was until I did a bit of research. MDF is a man made product that is manufactured by breaking down the wood fibers of soft woods and then combining the fibers with wax and a resin binder. Panels are then formed by applying pressure under high temperatures. Some of the benefits of MDF over wood are that it is consistent in strength and that it does not split because it does not have a grain. It is also stronger than particle board because it is more dense. Using MDF and its quality construction, UltiMate garage cabinets are so strong that they are designed to hold up to 400 lbs.

Second, they are functional. UltiMate garage cabinets come in a variety of heights and widths, from full-sized tall cabinets, to cabinets with top work surfaces, to others that you hang on the wall. They come with just a door, a door and a drawer, or in two or three door configurations. This gives great versatility to store most anything.

The cabinets are also easy to clean because they are finished with a thermofused melamine laminate over the MDF (and the excellent ability for fusing laminates to MDF is another one of MDF's benefits). The laminate is very easy to clean, which is important, even if they are in the garage!

A couple of other functional feature of UltiMate Garage cabinets are that they have handle pulls that can be used to hang shop towels or tools, and sturdy adjustable feet. Adjustability is perfect to help level the cabinets on uneven surfaces, and the feet elevate the cabinets 4" off the ground. This is good because sometimes garages get wet, and the cabinets are high enough to make it easy to sweep under.

Last, but not least, these cabinets will add a bit of style to your garage. Now, you may not think of a garage as being stylish, but if you are going to spend some money to organize your garage, you want it to look good. UltiMate garage cabinets are available in a really nice black and granite laminate finish, or soon in a white and gray laminate. They also have high quality, oversized brushed zinc drawer pulls that, as mentioned, can be used to hang stuff on. And my favorite style feature, they have rounded corners. This gives your garage cabinets a great look, and also are a lot safer for kids who are playing in the garage.

There are a lot of great garage cabinet systems available, and many have great features, but don't forget the benefits of strength, functionality and style as you try to form your ultimate garage.
