The intrinsic aim of a lawyer is to fight circumstances which lead to social injustice and associated crimes. He aims to establish a society in which means should run well with the ends. It’s his onus to fight the diverse cases with honesty and uphold the esteem of juridical organizations. He can practice himself or even attach himself to a lawyer firm as a partner or an associate. While being a part of a lawyer firm, it’s his onus to take various litigation as well as corporate cases. Litigation cases can include fighting for the sovereignty of his clients and fighting against various charges levied against his company. While tackling corporate cases, his duty is to advise on the right kind of mergers, acquisitions and financial investments of a company. Lawyers in a law firm hardly take up personal cases. Next we have individual lawyers. Such lawyers fight for individuals as well as groups (if they are asked to) they can take up civil and criminal cases depending upon their area of expertise. An individual practitioner can have many roles as well. · Prosecution or defense of criminals: Lawyers can fight for plaintiffs and defendants and look to protect their clients in various criminal cases. They are called criminal defense lawyers and criminal prosecution lawyers in the given context. · Carrying out will of the Testate – lawyers are given the onus of carrying out the will of the dead in many countries. They read the drafts, wills and also trustee’s letters. · Carrying out Conveyancing- lawyers carry out the transfer of deeds from one hand to another. This can be a mortgage deed or some other real estate deed. In fact sometime ago, British lawyers generated almost half of their income through Conveyancing. · Sheltering intellectual property- They purvey the intellectual properties which may include patentsComputer Technology Articles, industrial designs and trademarks. · Making legal recommendations- they suggest the legal route for all the associated problems. Lawyers in Munich are touted as highly efficient and they are raising the bar for their peers.
