Another great method is by advertising on websites that your target market would visit frequently.  Forums and blogs are a great place to add comments to while leaving your link.  You can even display advertising banners on some of these sites.  This is a great way to get your news out there to the right people you want to target. 

Creating a blog is a great way to drive traffic to your website.  This is becoming a highly used method of advertising because it works.  With a blog, you can write about yourself, your products or service, add testimonials, etc.  There is no limit to what you can do to promote your site with a blog.

Creating a good email list of your potential clients is a huge method.  Create a capture page to get your market’s information, and then email them information such as newsletters, updates about your product or service, or anything else that is informative for them.  This creates a relationship with them, and gives them a reason to look at your website. 

Lastly, one of the most important methods of marketing these days is viral marketing.  Using social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook is the new and upcoming wave in marketing.  If you don’t know about them yet, take a look at these sites and learn how to use them.
