There's a specific way to solve a Rubik's cube. And how you solve it actually can teach you an important marketing lesson (even a life lesson).

Back in middle school,Going Back to the Days of My Rubik's Cube Obsession Articles I was known as the Rubik’s cube nerd, and rightfully so because my classmates would see me with that toy in my hand every single day.

Ever since the day I saw one of my friends play with the cube, I’ve been obsessed with figuring out how to solve it and how to solve it as fast as possible.

One minute and two seconds was my fastest record.

Even my teachers were so impressed that they didn’t even bother confiscating it. I guess they were so used to seeing me with it, they saw it as an extension of my hand.

To this day, I still remember how to solve it.

You solve one side and the first layer touching that side at the same time.

Then you work your way up by solving the middle layer, and finally the top layer.

Just like everything you do in life, you start with the foundation, then work your way up.

Yes, that includes email copywriting.

If you want to learn and improve that skill, you have to start with the most boring part of the skill, the foundations.

That’s where my book, How to Become an Email Titan, comes in.

There aren’t any advanced teachings in this book, only the necessary principles you need to learn in order to have success in email copywriting.

Yes, it may not be as fun as the advanced stuff, but it’ll take you a long way if you drill them in your head.
