TIPP CITY, OHIO, November 3, 2011 -- “Repacorp invests in the latest label technology to keep our distributors extremely competitive. EFI's Jetrion 4900 is an ideal choice for Repacorp’s Wisconsin facility. This high quality digital press will allow us to print short and medium run orders from print file straight through to finished roll,” comments Repacorp’s Executive Vice President, Tony Heinl. "It produces top-quality labels with cost-savings that go straight to the bottom line; a must in today's business environment where lean manufacturing and efficiency are required to keep our costs down so that our distributors can stay competitive.”

By integrating printing and finishing for the entire production run, Repacorp offers substantial savings with no additional plates, dies, change overs and make-ready labor. With two digital presses and laser cutting systems already in their Ohio headquarter facility; Repacorp continues to invest in the latest label technology, adding digital capabilities to their Wisconsin facility.

EFI's Jetrion 4900 is a versatile system that combines EFI's Jetrion UV digital presses with an industrial web finishing and transport system. The Jetrion system prints four-color and highly opaque white UV inks in a single pass and is UL-certified on select substrates. The UV inks are resistant to the environment and chemicals. The finishing system features advanced, high-powered dual lasers from SEI Laser Converting, offering comprehensive capabilities such as die cutting, slitting, and backscoring on a wide range of substrates from paper, foil and film to specialty stock. It runs standard flexo rolls and offers inline and offline modes for special jobs.

“Repacorp’s success with our current Jetrion presses prompted us to expand this capability to our other facility,” states Tony Heinl. “We have combined our digital labels with a quote module that allows our distributors to provide instant quotes on their website—with their branding and markup, or to provide quotes while on the phone with the customer. Studies show that the quicker you provide the quote, the more orders you will receive. We provide our distributors with the ability to give their customer a quote, and instantly email them a confirmation of the quote, while on the phone. Because we are investing in the latest digital technology, these quotes are very competitive, and the labels produced are sharp, clean, and utilize UV inks which are durable and resistant to heat, cold and chemicals. We also have a variety of UL approved materials. We have UL certification to produce UL certified labels on our EFI Jetrion presses. Many UL applications are short to medium runs, which will give our distributors and end users the advantage of high quality UL labels at reasonable prices,” said Heinl.
