Many brides and grooms think of a lot of out-of-this-world things whenever they are thinking about their wedding to be different and to have a significant something when they will think of their wedding in the future. And that one option which is to opt out in having a topper for one of the most important detail of the wedding that is the wedding cake is one thing that many couples are doing these days.

Well, having no wedding cake toppers can also lessen up the budget for the cake, that’s one practical reason for opting out. There are affordable toppers, some can even be made personally by the bride or anyone who’s got participation with the wedding, and there are the pricey ones.  Another reason for opting out of the cake topper is to be different and for the bride and groom to have a wedding cake that’s unlike any other wedding cakes. It is to opt for something which can put the wedding in a different light.

Some couples still want to have a topper on their wedding but they put it in another holder, sometimes just beside the cake itself. This is, at times, due to wedding traditions which should not be broken or the bride and the groom just want it to be there but just in another place, not topping the cake. There are also reasons like the cake can’t be ruined with a topper because it’s beautiful enough and a cake topper is not needed anymore because the frosting or the icing are designed in such a way that they already look like amazing wedding cake accessories.

With or without the topper, any cake will do as long as it is the own decision of the bride and the groom and they are completely okay with the idea. Any move that is going to be done in planning a wedding is acceptable as long as it is agreed upon by the couple who is getting married. And having the cake without the topper is completely acceptable. Some are investing more on the accessories scattered around the wedding cake that makes it not require a topper anymore. So, with or without a topper, the cake will still look pretty and stunning during the wedding reception.
