Develop Your Intuitive Abilities With This Simple Grounding Exercise

This article explores how to put intuition development theory into practice in a simple and effective way.

How many times have you known something and yet not paid much attention to it, and then later said ‘I should have listened to my gut feeling?’ I know how you feel, because I’ve been there too. I know how frustrating it can be when we ignore that gut feeling, do something else (usually what "seems" logical), and then get ourselves into an even worse situation.

This is probably because western culture does not encourage us to page  attention to that little intuitive voice inside us that has a special way of signaling.  The more aware we are about the whole intuitive power; we will be able to awaken it.

That said, theory is useless if we don’t put it into practice. So I will tell you about something I learned in the past. It’s called a grounding exercise. Following are the few steps that will help awaken your intuition;

  1. Sit yourself up, straight with both feet on the floor
  2. Now take around three deep breaths from your abdomen area. Continue to breath slowly
  3. Picture this in your mind; roots start to grow from the soles of your feet. These roots go deep into the earth. It is taking the tension and all negativity in your body into the earth whilst purifying your whole body
  4. Feel the roots grow deeper and deeper into the earth
  5. The roots then break and through it, feel the spiritual energy flowing in from earth. This energy will then move to the soles of your feet
  6. It will then move on to the trunk of your body and then shoot straight up to the head
  7. Feel this energy soothe and calm your whole body

This energetic exercise will in no time have a powerful effect on your body as well as your life. It will help you pay more attention to the minor details you might usually not notice, things that could have an impact in your life without you knowing.
