Could you do a little more research to provide better information that would motivate the person to come on board? As you are writing down what was said, you are also writing down possible ways to correct the stumbling blocks. This gives you a calculated way to improve the quality of what you are doing.

You could also use your journal as a guidebook for the people in your down line. Most newbies to network marketing have a lot of questions (at least they should) and they are going to be looking to you for guidance. Being able to share your journal with them will help get them on the right track and give them proven ways to be successful. Remember when it comes to network marketing the more successful your down line the more successful you are.

A network marketing journal could very well be what is standing between you and ultimate success.  You will be able to use your network marketing journal to improve your business because you will be able to track what is working and what isn't and then make all necessary changes.
